Seniors in High School
-Are you on track for graduation? Adjust your schedule so that it
fulfills your school’s requirements. Have a balance. Remember, colleges
want you to pursue classes in all five academic areas.
-Sign up for the October SATs and ACTs at collegeboard.com and act.org.
Review Geometry and Algebra I & II books and notes 10 minutes each
night. Take free practice tests offered on these websites.
-When colleges visit your school or have regional meetings, attend those
of interest. Ask your counselor for dates.
- Talk to your teachers who will write your recommendations, and give
them the required forms. Haven’t asked yet? Do so quickly and
respectfully!!
-The College Scholarship Service Profile is available in your
counselor’s office. You can also register online at collegeboard.com.
-For scholarship opportunities, register with fastweb.com.
Juniors in High School

capabilities and will offer their advice.
- Check what colleges will be visiting your school and attend those
meetings that interest you.
